Got a malware on OS X Yosemite, how do I get rid of it?

Once your test is run, what should I be looking for in the result. I am having browser redirect issues. I've checked my LauchDaemon folders, etc. deleted questionable browser extensions, all to no avail.

I just dealt with this with Mac Support. They identified this as adware, had me download malwarebytes for free and run it. 2 malware files were deleted. Worked like a charm on my iMac with Yosemite running.

Try running this program and then copy and paste the output in a new post. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. On the screen with Options, please open Options and check the bottom 2 boxes before running. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown.

I followed Linc's directions exactly but it did not work for me. Still have the problem on Chrome. Anyone have any other ideas or suggestions?

What files were those? Do you know where you got the trojan?

As of November 30, 2014, Linc's advice is still working. It removed my Malware. Thank you.
