cannot delete keyboard short cuts?!?

The problem is I have a ipad, iPhone, and imac. All in sync. So if I delete one it just repopulates from the other devices. I even sat there and deleted the shortcuts on all three at the same time. Didn't work. The problem is there is a major bug in ios8 that when certain shortcuts auto populate in the text field of a web page form it completely freezes safari and it's dead untill I restart safari. So until they figure this out and fix it I need to remove the keyboard short cuts ASAP.

Actually I said "keyboard" . I meant "text" shortcuts. FYI when you type it auto inputs the full phrase. Can a mod edit the topic heading please?

I think keyboard shotcut is the proper phrase, like if you type omw you get on my way. On the iPad go to settings> general> keyboard> shortcuts> tap edit in the lower left, then tap the minus sign, tap delete, tap done.

Thank you. But please read my initial post. That does not work for me. They come right back. I upgraded to icloud drive

You're welcome. I read it, but then you go on to say you need to know how to do it, a little confusing. Hopefully someone has your solution, I don't.

this is my problem as well. On my iPad, I have keyboard shortcuts that I no longer want. I have gone under general and deleted the shortcuts daily. But they keep coming back. How can I make them stay deleted for good!!!

Oh look! I posted this 6 months ago and the problem even worse now! Thanks for fixing this for me Apple - NOT! Come on fix it already. This is driving me nuts!

I have the exact same problem.
The shortcuts are working, I can set new ones, no freeze BUT when I delete some, they keep coming back.
I tried to delete all of them, reboot my iPhone 6+, same result.

I also reset my keyboard dictionary, same problem.
It happens independently of any sync. with iTunes as I tried when I had deleted the shortcuts.
Same thing with iCloud.
They are deleted but come back.
Maximum time they had really disappeared was 12 h!!
As I have a few almost similar it becomes a mess very quickly when I type!

I've read a few things on other community forums. They have the same problem and no answer so far!

Very annoying and yes it's driving me nuts also!
