Can you use Pay setup with one Apple ID to purchase items on the iTunes Store that has a different Apple ID?
Back when Apple launched the iTunes Store in 2003 I set up an account and my email address was made the Apple ID for the store. A couple of years later I got a Dot Mac account and an additional Apple ID based on my mac.com address. I've hoped for years that Apple would hire a high school student to merge their various Apple ID databases into one but it hasn't happened yet. So I have ALL of my iTunes Stores purchases (music, apps, books, etc.) under my original Apple ID and my other Apple-related stuff (these discussions, AppleCare, mac.com email and now Pay) under the second Apple ID (with MobileMe and iCloud, I've received further Apple IDs based on the respective me.com & icloud.com addresses, but I've never used them). Thus I'm faced with trying to purchase items under Apple ID 1 with a card that is listed under Apple ID 2.
If I add the cc I attached to Pay to my iTunes Store account, would it work then?
