Settings/ General/ accessibility / ZOOM OFF!!!!!

Iphone 5C with iOs 8.3> same problem: no color on screen; turned off zoom and it worked. Grayscale was turned off all the time, and I lost colors while I had iphone in my pocket while biking. It spontanously changed to grayscale and invert ed colors; no matter what I did, couldn't get colors back, until I turned off zoom. Apparently, by reading all these posts, there's a bad "connection" in iOs 8.x between zoom, grayscale and invert colors functions, ha ha. I'm glad I found this post, as my next step was to do a hard reset. Peace, Javier
That is exactly what happened to me!
All of the screens
Great. Thanks for the solution
I would back up and restore the software. If that doesn't help try restoring as a new device. If it continues, your device is under warranty, so take it to the Genius Bar to have it evaluated (make an appointment first).
2. Also try (First try a reset of the iPhone. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot. )
If that doesn't work try the back up and restore that AmishCake suggests. Still no luck? Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.
Everything you just posted has already appeared in this thread 10 months ago. The real solution was also posted 10 months ago.
Thanks a lot man! But while I was doing your technique, after entering Settings>>General>>Accesibility>>Zoom , if you scroll down you'll see that there's a zoom filter that is set to "grayscale inverted" , if you change it back to "none" , you can turn the zoom back on and you will still have normal colors.
Hope that will be helpful for you guys!
Thank you so much I had some problem I was very very sad and confusing
until I saw your solution
My screen just went black & white. I did these easy steps and it's back to color.
Go to generat, accessibility, display accommodation and turn off color filters...
Hope it works...
This totally works. Bizarre. Thanks tons amigo.
Me too. I lost colour display after having my Ipod 6 in my pocket. I did what you did and turned off zoom. The colours were back. Thanks pal.
In the zoom section, turn the zoom filter to "none" which fixes the greyscale issue immediately!
