Nov 12, 2014 5:32 PM in response to jcwright87by tigertazz,I'm also having this issue. I deleted a password because I've thought it was wrong didn't think to check that the keychain was turned off again

Nov 14, 2014 6:37 PM in response to tigertazzby laughinman1,I'm also experiencing this problem. MacBook Yosemite, iPad and iPhone on iOS 8.
iCloud Keychain seems to disable itself on my iPhone 6 only. Need to confirm re: iPad.
I can't pinpoint when the problem started, but it was definitely after the iOS 8 and Yosemite upgrade.

Nov 17, 2014 1:25 AM in response to Clubworldby tigertazz,The only thing that has fixed the problem for me was to wipe the phone and do a clean install and then to restore from a backup afterward. This fixed the keychain turning off (for now) but raised new issues

Nov 19, 2014 2:25 AM in response to tigertazzby markmc78,Happens to me to, on iOS 8.0, 8.0.2, 8.1 and 8.1.1.
Along with a multitude of other issues with iOS and Yosemite (Handoff and Continuity just stop working altogether, iPad and iPhones in my house connect permanently to my MacBook Pro via Bluetooth and can't be disconnected, Screen Sharing/File Sharing with my Mac Mini stops working/can't connect then randomly fixes itself after a while, TV show episodes missing artwork, screen artefacts/distortion in Screen Sharing between Mini and MBP (this didn't happen when my MBP had Yosemite and the Mini had Mavericks, only started when Mini also moved to Mavericks)

Nov 24, 2014 1:50 PM in response to jcwright87by tigertazz,I May have an answer to this.
I had an appointment at the Genius Bar today. He told me the way to solve the iCloud issue in general.
1. Get to a computer
2. Put your iphone in airplane mode (or iOS / Mac off from all network)
3. log into iCloud on the computer
4. go into find my iPhone and search for your "disconnected" device
5. Wait for the device to not be located and choose remove from my iCloud account.
6. Turn off airplane mode and sign out of icloud
7. Log back into iCloud after 5 minutes (I believe this to be fairly arbitrary)
this should help the issue. I'm holding my breath at this point but so far so good
