I have experience with the browser situation. I tried to pay my Comcast bill and kept receiving error messages, from 'please re-register' to' this app will not work on your current OS'. Finally, days later, a comcast employee asked what browser I was using, it was Safari and so I switched to Chrome and problem solved.
