Has anyone used X2Pro to convert XML to use in Pro tools

I'm trying to export from FCP X into Pro Tools to do a final sound mix. I purchase X2Pro because it claimed to be able to do just that but Pro Tools doesn't recognize the aaf files and says I need a Digitalconvert 2.0 which is another $500. Has anyone had any experience with any of these programs. I can't find a way to contact X2Pro for support.

Wow, that is a really old version of ProTools. I'm not sure if 7 had support for AAF yet or just OMF. Just so that you realize, AAF and OMF are interchange formats meant to allow you to move between computers or programs. These are used for round tripping workflows. AIFF on the other hand is an audio file (extremely similar to a WAV or Broadcast WAV). I started off with ProTools 8 and upon import of audio there was always an option to convert the files, but I've never used 7HD. I would either see about updating to a less ancient ProTools (not really possible if this isn't your own facility) or possibly just opening it on a newer system, converting, then saving down. This seems to be much more of a ProTools problem than FCPX, as the .fcpxml and .aaf seem to have been created just fine, so you might want to ask on the Avid ProTools forum.
