Audio issues during phone calls on iPhone 6

I am actually experiencing the exact opposite issue. Intermitantly I cannot hear the other person but they still hear me. The sound stops completely and it sounds like the other person put me on mute. Was hoping to find a fix on here, otherwise will have to make a trip to the Apple Store.

HI to all, I really like apple product but I'm really disappointed with my iPhone 6. I only had the phone for 5 months and haven't hardly used and I have taken great care but from today I'm UNABLE TO HEAR ANYONE VIA EAR PIECE . The ONLY to hear someone is by havone Phone on LOUD SPEAKER. I have been reading other thereads here and looks like the symptom are having effects on other users. does anyone if Apple will replace the phone with new one or this audio issue can be fixed by software update? Thank you

I've been having this problem and changed my LTE to just data like mentioned above. I had it on "voice and data" also. Hopefully this is the solution because I'm getting frustrated when people can't hear me on the phone. I've only had this problem with iPhone 6 - never had it with the 5 or 3. Crazy.

I had the same problem and people could only hear me on speaker. Apple replaced the phone and 2 weeks later now sometimes they can hear me only on speaker and sometimes only off speaker. The worst is it will change in the middle of the call and then drop the call.

Hey, i also had the same issue with my iphone 6s plus. i don't know if it occurs after upgrade of ios to 10. but in my case when i call (incoming/outgoing) i can't hear the sound in main speaker/earphones... only after toggling the loudspeaker on and off again the sound comes everywhere. otherwise the other person can not even hear me too..

I got replaced my phone for this issue last week. but i do fear it must not be the hardware issue. it's something related to ios and i am sure it will come again in new device too.. let see if it happens again.

I tried this settings. but in my case it was under mobile data option not settings>cellular.. there is nothing like that. but it appears to me again even with the new replaced phone with above settings "Data only". I don't know what crazy thing happening.. and apple support even can't have any proper reason or at least acknowledgment of this serious issue and some confirmation that they are working on it.. no apple support people is answering on this thread.. looking like we are chatting in 3rd party website.

Please some one from apple take serious note of this issue and try to resolve asap.. and keep up the goodwill... it is frustrating now after moving from android and investing huge amount of money in iPhone.

My first test call after changing the setting worked without the audio drops I was getting. This seems more to do with the carrier than the phone, though it could certainly be a combination of the two.

I got my 6s replaced but issue is still there.. no solution to this
