Audio issues during phone calls on iPhone 6

When I make or receive a phone call from my iPhone 6, the sound drops out intermittently. I can hear caller but they can't hear me. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

HI to all, I really like apple product but I'm really disappointed with my iPhone 6. I only had the phone for 5 months and haven't hardly used and I have taken great care but from today I'm UNABLE TO HEAR ANYONE VIA EAR PIECE . The ONLY to hear someone is by havone Phone on LOUD SPEAKER. I have been reading other thereads here and looks like the symptom are having effects on other users. does anyone if Apple will replace the phone with new one or this audio issue can be fixed by software update? Thank you

Has anyone discovered what the problem is with the phone. My phone just started doing the same thing this week. Intermittently I cannot hear the other person but they still hear me during a conversation. The sound stops completely from 5 - 20 seconds, and it sounds like the other person put me on mute then the sound comes back. What should I do?

Hey, i also had the same issue with my iphone 6s plus. i don't know if it occurs after upgrade of ios to 10. but in my case when i call (incoming/outgoing) i can't hear the sound in main speaker/earphones... only after toggling the loudspeaker on and off again the sound comes everywhere. otherwise the other person can not even hear me too..


I got replaced my phone for this issue last week. but i do fear it must not be the hardware issue. it's something related to ios and i am sure it will come again in new device too.. let see if it happens again.

I tried this settings. but in my case it was under mobile data option not settings>cellular.. there is nothing like that. but it appears to me again even with the new replaced phone with above settings "Data only". I don't know what crazy thing happening.. and apple support even can't have any proper reason or at least acknowledgment of this serious issue and some confirmation that they are working on it.. no apple support people is answering on this thread.. looking like we are chatting in 3rd party website.


Please some one from apple take serious note of this issue and try to resolve asap.. and keep up the goodwill... it is frustrating now after moving from android and investing huge amount of money in iPhone.
