I have a scan of a Document. I am trying to send this document as a pdf. When I scan it, it scans as a jpeg. Thats ok in preview i just hit export as pdf. But this document has a front and back. So i have the front pdf file and the back pdf file. I don’t want to files.. I just want one. Can I merge the two?

Open one of the PDF files. In the sidebar it should list this one document entry. Drag the second document into the first one's sidebar. This should join the two.
Yes I tried this. After i do this I hit save or Duplicate and it just saved one page.. not two
Preview is such a PITA for doing what should be straight forward. You can try Export, I suppose, or do what I do - don't use Preview. Visit MacUpdate..com and search for "merge PDF." You should find several good options for making this a simple task.
Oh o think I’ve got it. Once its in the sidebar you can drag the documents over each other again and accomplish merging into one document.
