You can't. If your computer is capable of running Mavericks its also capable of running Yosemite. The Mac App Store will only offer the most recent version to you.

And since there is no physical media for Mavericks, there''s no easy way to get it. You would need to have downloaded the installer beofre Yosemite was released and saved onto a USB drive or DVD.

Any reason you do not want to install Yosemite?

Its every bit as good as Mavericks, and in some respects its even better. Its runs very nicely on my Mid 2007 iMac.
