iTunes 12.x (on Yosemite) display bug (scroll bars)

I am seeing a display bug in iTunes 12.0.1.26 on Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite.

When I scroll up and down using the magic-mouse scrolling the display gets screwed up (maybe from the left-right scrollbar at the bottom of the window pane).

I am in the list view, not an album cover view.

I cannot take a screenshot with cmd-shift-4 or with Skitch because the display redraws correctly before the screenshot is captured. So I have to describe it best I can: It's chopping up some of the rows and they are getting overwritten with partial row images. Darn, it's hard to describe.

Is anyone else experiencing something like this?

Yes, same here. iTunes 12.0.1.26, MacBook Pro 2012, OS X Yosemite 10.10

I noticed that it happens more often if app is in focus (and song name is scrolling?). If I just scroll the contents of the window when it is not in focus (app name is not shown in the OS X title bar) it seems like it redraws the whole window more often.

This is exactly what I am seeing. (on a side note, I wonder why it never occurred to me to take a photograph of the screen after trying screenshots didn't work!)

I had the same problem and just fixed it. I had 43 duplicate fonts installed by Microsoft Office 365. I validated all fonts in Font Book and deleted the duplicates. The problem is gone now.

Interesting. I just checked and I have no duplicate fonts, though. I'm glad it fixed your issue.

Disregard my previous. I opened iTunes while I had Parallels running and the problem returned. I can't find duplicate fonts now either. But it makes me wonder if it still might be a font problem.

Yep. I have the same issue. Was on a Macbook Pro 2012...got a new 2014 Pro... Time Machined everything and issue remains.

This may be a long shot, but I was having the same problem and I seem to have solved it as follows:

Go to System Preferences
Click on Displays
In the Display tab, under Resolution, select "Scaled" but leave it at "default". This will simply make it revert to the "default for display" but miraculously cured the iTunes display problem.

YMMV, but this worked for me.

Issue resolved. Simply just change the list text size to small or large. By changing this it resolved my scrolling glitch issue.

In iTunes:Go Preferences > General > In here change the "List Size" to either small or large. Both aren't that bad, just saying.

Another attempt may to also turn on "Use LCD font smoothing when available" feature. I've haven't verified myself, but give it a shot.

You can locate this feature by going to System Preferences > General - from there at the bottom, check: "Use LCD font smoothing when available" box.

Let me know if that worked for you?

Same problem here. Tried Font Validation, LCD Smoothing, List Size, and screen resolution, all to no avail. When scrolling I also sometimes see a gray bar appear. Any other thoughts or will I just have to wait for an update?
