Iphone 4: Cellular Data Connectivity Issues
Recently reformatted IPhone back to factory resets (iOS 8.1) and changed phone service providers.
New SIM card works for phone and text, but not data. When I try and connect I get error messages when using Safari, Mail, facebook, etc that there is no cellular network.
Diagnostics I have tried so far...
- Tried the apps over wifi, work great.
- Confirmed on phone display can see 3g connectivity.
- Service provider tech support can see that I am trying to connect (ping)
- Together with service provider, diagnosed that the reformat reset also reset the apps that "Use Cellular Data For:" to only Facetime and Passport. I can't seem to get other apps to appear on this list.
- When I try and facetime, I cant get it to work over the cellular. Works great over Wifi
Any help appreciated.
