Last year we used the iPod for Skype calls while traveling out of country. It works great!
Now I cannot even sign in using the iPod. Must be a software problem, I have reloaded the Skype app from my iMac withe no Joy.
iTunes says the 6.1.6 version is the current version for the iPod.

I did reload the skype app with no Joy. There is no way to contact skype.....

It may be that the war between Appel and the Micro and the rest of the world will not allow the use of older OS platforms?.
Hey HelpMelke, Have you tried skype.com? I do remember seeing on there website a way of getting skype for earlier iOS versions. But it's been a while, you'll have to do some checking, and since iOS 8, I'm not sure if you can still download. (But what do you have to lose.) Hope this helps, Cheers.
maybe if you update or you delete the app and then sign in again
I did with No Joy, did not resolve the issue, think that problem is with software.

Can you use that Skype account on another device?
Yes my iPad and iMac still work fine. Something happened (I think) when Skype was bought by ?? Or a some software issue with the 6.1.6 version of my iPod (latest available)???
