Yosemite laserjet 1010

Hi, since I installed Yosemite on my MacBook pro the hp laserjet 1010 is not working anymore.

With Maverics it worked by plug and play. Now I receive the affirmation of the successful print but my printer does´t make a sound.

Does anybody have an equal problem and found a solution?

Thanks!

I have the same problem with hp Laserjet 1010 on i/Mac since I upgraded to OS X yosemite. There s an update on the mac App Store for printers and scanners but overtime I try to install it it crashes before end of downloading. I eventually succeeded to install it on the macbook pro with now runs the printer with no problem but on iMac just couldn't install this update. Has anyone tried this. Any suggestions thanks in advance.

I just realized I had been trying to use the HP LS 1200 driver for my 1018, while I should have been using the 1022 driver, which is the one that works with the 1018 (since there is no specific driver for 1018).

So now that I have already upgraded to 10.10.1, I'm not sure if the update fixed anything for me or if I was just using the wrong driver from the start.

Anyway, the HP LaserJet 1022 driver works on the 1018 on Yosemite 10.10.1. Confirmed.
