Blank Quick Look Previews When Toggling Between Images

I am having an issue with Quick Look. Just wondering if anyone else is seeing the same problem and/or knows of a fix.

When I use Quick Look in the Finder to go through a series of photos I sometimes get blank previews. For example, if I am using the arrow keys to go from one picture to the next, it seems to work ok as long as I don't try and go backwards. Once I go backwards on a photo that I had already viewed in Quick Look, it goes blank (see attached photo).

Anyone else having this problem? I first noticed this in Mac OS X Mavericks. I upgraded to Yosemite and continue to have the problem. Thanks for any help in advance!
