Q: iWeb crashes when I use image adjust

iWeb began consistently crashing when I would try to use the image adjust feature. I had been using it quite a bit before with no problems. I certainly have regained my old OS 9 "save every few minutes" habit. Does anyone have a fix?

    Try the following:

1 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your

         User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.

2 - delete iWeb's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your

    User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder.

3 - launch iWeb and try again.

NOTE: In Lion and later the Home/Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and press the Return key - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.

If you're running Mavericks or Yosemite  go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:

Thank you very much. I had restored to a recent backup and run maintenance scripts but nothing worked until this. I was hesitant to upgrade to Yosemite for fear of iWeb not working well with it, but it seems my fears are groundless. Again, thank you very much! I really appreciate the knowledge shared.
