Have reset phone and still won't pair. Updated firmware on the Bose system to no avail. The reset did help the phone pair with my car. Phone previously paired with the Bose as does my IPad. I can't get the new 6 to pair. Any suggestions?

If you still have your old phone turn off Bluetooth on it and on the iPad and any other device you use the Sounddock with. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings and reset them then put the Bose in pairing mode and pair them again.
I did that and it did not work. I found similar issues with someone trying to pair with their Mac. They held the bluetooth button down on the Bose system for at least 10 seconds then turning on the bluetooth on the phone. I did that thinking no way will this work -- I will be darned but It did. I wanted to post this just in case anyone else has this issue. Resetting my phone was not a total waste as I also had a heck of a time pairing with my car. Resetting my phone and starting it as new solved that issue so I am now fully functional except for having to manually add all my apps lol.

This worked for me. It took a couple of tries, but it did eventually pair.
I Have been trying to link my iPad Air with my Bose sound dock 10 for hours!!!! The 10 seconds on the bluetooth button finally did the trick! Thank you!!!

I had a problem with pairing .
What i did was just leave it to pair it took 10 mins
The first time now it pairs right away.
Just leave to pair for 10/15 mins.
The first time.
