I dont know how I ended up with a username that advertises both my name and city of residence (I would never choose such a name if I knew it would be posted publicly), but for privacy reasons I'd like to set my forum username to something that isn't so personal. Searching the forums has led me to believe that there is no way for users to do this, but that mods might be able to assist me. How can I contact a moderator to request a change of username?

Hello, everybody. I would like to request that my username also be changed - I did not realize it would display my full name, which I would never do for security and privacy reasons. When I signed up for this, I did not know my actual name would display next to my posts. I would like my username as it appears to be AC3, please.

My situation might be odd, let me know you can help me out.
I would like to remove this account (and/or change the Username to "JoblessPunk1") so I can attach this Username "JoblessPunk" to my @me.com account.
I set this account up way before there was @me.com or @icloud.com accounts, so this Username is tied to an @gmail.com account.
I have migrated all my Apple accounts to my @me.com account including my Username "JoblessPunk". The only one I haven't done is this one, because I don't have the ability to change my Username on the fly.
The end goal is to have the Username "JoblessPunk" tied to my @me.com account, what would you suggest?

Usually, changing one's username is reserved for cases where there is someone's RealName in it or some other security issue. I will alert the Hosts anyway.
IF you want, you can simply abandon use of the UserName and create a new one. Not much to it...
*NOTE: any purchases/downloads associated with the old Apple ID can only be accessed through that account (your email address is 'called' your Apple ID, but in reality, the creation of an Apple ID issues an unseen "number" that the systems use to actually identify you)
