Q: Change Forum Username

Hi. I would also like to change my username  for forums because it does show my name. I'd prefer to change it so something de-identified. I am not sure how the username for apple support forums got created. Thank-you.

"500 year flood" - if you know what that is... At DFW Airport = 17+ inches of rain just in May. Our worst here at the house was 2-3" in ±30 minutes. A little over an inch into the driveway end of the garage on 4 occasions. The ground got so saturated that normal drainage (degraded over 50 years of "archaeological sediments") caused the high side of the house to get water above the slab foundation and seeped  in (garage again).  BTW, we live at the top of a hill!! Houston area got the worst. At least we don't ever have to deal with the ocean's storms (or volcanoes)

I would also like to change my user name - I've had it for 8 years and some of the comments I've made were made out of frustration.

Can someone help? BobDob would be fine, or something innocuous like that.

AntoinePancakes  - I'll report to the Hosts, but you need to be aware that this rarely occurs and only when there is an account security issue involved. If I were to change my Username every time I spouted off and later regretted it, it would keep the Hosts very busy - don't worry about the past and focus on current civil conduct - ÇÇÇ

Hello there.

Would it also be possible for me to change my username? It includes my birth date and is a very old username that I no longer use elsewhere. On every other service I've changed it to something else, I wish I could do this here too.

as stated previously here, and elsewhere ad infinitum, username change is usually only for account security issues. I will report your post to the Hosts (who decide) anyway. Wait and see..... -
