Emory University - categories have disappeared!

Only one category, Literature, remains on our site. The rest have disappeared!

Hi ODaniel,

At East Tennessee State University, many of our categories disappeared this past Sunday - 2 days ago - and many of our collections disappeared from end user view (most). We have submitted 2 reports and sent an e-mail to Steve W (who unfortunately has changed divisions) - although he replied almost immediately.

All of our collections and pages are intact in admin side and preview mode, so we don't think anything has been lost, and most students find things by search and so they can still find the collections they need, and the collections and episodes are all working in iTunes U as long as the students can find them. Most seem to find them through search anyway.

But we have been getting regular phone calls from students and faculty who use the categories in the actual site to get to their collections, and we have been providing them with direct links to their course collections.

We have notified our IT help desk to let people know that they can find the collections by searching or by calling or e-mailing us for direct links.

We have not received any word from Apple other than the 2 automated replies to tell us they received our requests for help.
