Q: I can not delete my FaceTime call logs since last update

I udpated my iMac a few weeks ago and my mac is about 2 years old, but since I updated it I cannot delete my FaceTime call logs. I tried to go to the circled i and expand but all the options I got was to create or cancel.

Try by holding the "ctrl" key and click into the field where the last calls are you want to delete. A menu should come up - saying "delete all new" something like that (mine is in German, so...). Helped for me after a lot of trying. Didn't figure out yet how to delete just specific calls.

It's strange, I delete all recents in Facebook (IOS 8) then delete all recents on my iPhone. I'll checked a few hours later, all still deleted, then later, all the recents show up again (calls from months ago) I've tried a number of times, but these old calls keep coming back. Any ideas?

Still having this problem. All my recents keep coming back all the way back to January. They appear on my FaceTime, iPhone 6. I delete them all, they are gone for a while, then they all come back. Does anyone have any ideas?

Click where exactly on the trackpad, where must the cursor be?

I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015). It is running:

    OS X Yosemite

    Version: 10.10.4 (14E46)

Processor: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7

    Memory: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

There is no "Remove from Recents" option available, either as a default button, OR by "right-clicking" anywhere on the FaceTime panel. This is a business machine. I have hundreds of calls to delete, and clearing my call log by having to select them one at a time and hit the delete key is not a viable way of doing things. It is stuff like this that just makes me want to trash the app and go to a third party solution that works better.

Quit Facetime and delete these files

    ~/Library/Application Support/CallHistoryDB/CallHistory.storedata

    ~/Library/Application Support/CallHistoryDB/CallHistory.storedata-shm

    ~/Library/Application Support/CallHistoryDB/CallHistory.storedata-wal

Restart FaceTime, and the Recent Calls should be gone.

I am running 10.10.5 on my MacBook Pro retina and cannot delete the entries in my FaceTime Audio call log.  You cannot select multiples by using the Control key, Command key or the Shift key.  You can right click on EACH entry and choose to "Remove from Recents" but you cannot select multiples.

Why can people explain things simple as you do. They all say select the name and choose deleted. Here I am kept on selecting their names and could not see

deleted option anywhere on my FaceTime. Thank you for your post!

For whatever reason Apple feels we should only be able to delete one recent at a time.  They should give us the ability to delete all at once.
