Q: complaint - awful customer service
I can safely say that I have had the worst customer experience i have ever had with a commercial enterprise.
I placed an order with Apple on the 3rd Nov and have heard nothing since, bar "we have received your order".
I checked online today and was informed that the order was "preparing for despatch", but would be delivered before the 21st November (18 days!!)
I called as this was extremely slow!! Hi-tech organisation with the slowest possible delivery service.
Apparently the phone is still in China - not the UK, and might go in the next 24 hours - how difficult is is to put a small box in a bag!!!!
I asked to speak to a manager, but was told I could speak with a "Management Representative", not a Manager. The representative, Sean, said that he could not/would not put me through to a manager and I could not complain to anyone else - he was the highest person i could speak with about this order or my experience with Apple - what sort of CS is this!! I was told that I could not cancel the order, in spite of it not being sent, so not only a poor delivery service, but a totally inflexible ordering system/process. If I want one sooner, go to a store and then send the other one back - apparently I can request a return already!!!
Apple - you make Ryanair seem flexible and reasonable
I would love someone from Apple to contact me to fully understand how the 35 minutes on the phone went (of which about half I was on hold) - perhaps they have a "representative for that"?
Their CS leaves much to be desired.
Is there some means of contacting someone at Apple who cares what their consumers think?
