If you are asking about a free download of Microsoft Office, there is no such download legally available. You may want to consider LibreOffice which is free and very good and quite compatible with Microsoft Office file formats. http://www.libreoffice.org
Good advice from FoxFifth, Libre Office is the way to go in 10.5.8, you'll need an older version though.
The FREE Office 365 is for recent iOS iDevices only.
If your computer's hardware is not Intel-based, (PowerPC build) then some
of the options for free or shareware open source may be limited, even in
archived sites. For awhile, other options existed for both and included
NeoOffice and OpenOffice. There still may be archived versions available
in their download sites, not among the current versions offered.
Some mirror sites may still hold original copies of the vintage files.
Also be aware that some sites may offer software for free yet it
may not be what it says it is; a contaminated malware or adware
file may be downloaded into your computer instead.

NeoOffice 3.1.2 may have worked for use in Leopard 10.5.8, and I have a
download .dmg or .zip from their site a few years ago; didn't use it though.
The file is about 158MB decompressed. Issues were fixed later updates.
To find these is more difficult now, as later versions are dominant.
While I also have original MS Office (and somewhere, Word 5.1a) for use
in these pre-10.6 systems, I seldom install or use that due to bloat and
the fact the Office tends to demand much in the way of resources. Too
much for certain models of PowerPC and earlier Intel-Mac. Older Office
runs in early OS X or patched Mac OS 9.2 code (for classic or dual boot)
so some versions those may work OK until as late as Snow Leopard.
Text Wrangler and a few others may still be available, but are editors and
can be used to write code or edit other software; they aren't full suites.
