Q: bootcamp partition from 10.6 disappeared after 10.9 upgrade

after upgrading 10.6.8 to 10.9.5, bootcamp partition grey out in disk util, missing from startup disk pane,

from the discussion forum, looks like  there is a mismatch between GPT table and MBR table, but I cannot

figure out how to do this.  from gptdisk output, it seems GPT is matching MBR
