I want a refund for the discontinued iPhoto app I paid for!

When I had an iPod Touch (5th Generation). It ran iOS 7 and I bought iPhoto. Then in October this year I bought an iPhone 5c when my iPod and old phone were stolen. This phone came with iOS8 pre-installed. I tried looking for iPhoto but to no avail. I did some research to find it not to be compatable with the new software. This is fine but I paid for that app and expect a multi-billion poind industry like Apple to at least upgrade its apps and not get rid of a paid app. Photos has more photo editing tools I agree but not all the one I require for my job. I want a full refund. It's not acceptable to do this to customers, especially considering I have been a customer for 10 years
