Change default sound settings

Hi, I got a question about the default sound setting on the mac.
Every time I start-up my computer the settings of the output-device switches back to 44kHz & 2chan 24-bits.
My preference for the setup is 48kHz & 32-bit, so I wonder if I could change this setting definitely.
