"The user Graphic resources appear to be Invalid" .

I have not performed any modification to the computer expect update to OS X Yosemite.

Any help I can get to resolve this problem will be appreciated.

You activated FileVault.

Select the FileVault tab in the Security & Privacy preference pane. Click the lock icon in the lower left corner and authenticate to unlock the settings, if necessary. If you see a button labeled Enable Users, click it and select the users whom you want to be able to unlock the volume.

Otherwise, back up all data, disable FileVault in the Security & Privacy preference pane, wait for it to finish decrypting (which will take several hours), and then re-enable it. You can continue to use the system while those operations are in progress, but it will be slower than normal. You won't need the backup unless something goes wrong.
