Q: Using the built-in microphone as a source in Switch Control

I was playing with the Accessibility features in iOS 8.1 and stumbled onto Switch Control, a powerful accessibility tool.

There was something puzzling though. In the switches menu, where you can add switches that control different Switch Control functionality, there doesn't seem to be any way to use your voice. You can use the front-facing camera to detect your head movement, the entire screen to detect a tap or an external switch.

I'm sure that using the built-in microphone would be incredibly useful to those with the inability to tap the iPad. Siri is nowhere near as powerful as a system-wide switch control. Anybody know why there's no option to use the built-in mic as a source for Switch Control?

Thanks.
