Q: No form of Internet working

Hi there,

Wasn't sure whether to post this in software or here, so if it's the wrong place, sorry about that. However, after upgrading to Yosemite, neither wifi NOR wired internet work! Other than the upgrade, nothing has changed. I have tried most of the posted Yosemite wifi fix solutions but none have worked. And we're not talking about a slow or an intermittent connection here- we're talking none AT ALL. I already know it is not a location issue, as it does not work at home or work. Any ideas? Thank you!

    Hi ..

"I have tried most of the posted Yosemite wifi fix solutions but none have worked."

Unless you specify exaclty what you have tried that didn't, help we have no way of knowing.

Could be corrupted network preferences (.plist files) as a result of the Yosemite upgrade.

Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder

Type or copy paste the following:

    /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration

Click Go then move all the files in the SystemConfiguration folder to the Trash.

    Restart your Mac.

See if that makes a difference.

Your Mac will generate a new SystemConfiguration folder for you.

And have you tried restarting your internet modem and router if you use one?
