My iPod skips through all of my music even after a full system restore, with no corrupt music files.

Any ideas? I searched through threads with this issue and there doesn't seem to be anything to do beyond a system restore. I've already wiped the iPod two times, and it still won't play any music that I put on it. This issue began when I updated to iOS 8.1 and iTunes 12.0.1.

When you said the "no corrupt music files" you do mean the songs ply OK in iTunes on your computer?

If a PC try:

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP

or

Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8

Next try DFU mode and then restore to factory settings/new iPod and then syn. Do not restore from backup
