i am not able to open my mail application. i am getting an error if i open my mail.....

    Mail won't run in Classic operating systems from 2001 and earlier, also available as boot operating systems on Macs from 2003 and earlier.

    Are you trying to load it in Classic, or some version of Mac OS X?    Go to Apple menu -> About This Mac to find out your operating system version.

     

    Are using any system cache cleaning software?  That may be the culprit.  The worst of them is MacKeeper, documented here as to how to remove:
