I recently purchased the new iPad Air 2. The pictures from the first iPad air did not transfer. How do I get them to transfer?

I Re cry bought an iPad Air 2 and the pictures from my original iPad air did not transfer. How do I get the pictures to transfer?

Restore the backup of the old iPad to the new one. That should transfer camera roll photos. If it didn't and you still have the old iPad, back it up to your computer using iTunes and restore that backup to the new iPad.
