how do re set up my billing info ?

could you please help, i Couldn't update my application in iOS app store, because of my billing information. Recently my previous Debit card has out of money, and I would like to change it with the new one, but I have problem, because it says declined and I don't know what to do. Thank You very much

Debit cards no longer seem to be accepted in all countries, and even where they are it appears that not all work (based on what some people have posted).


For a card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are. If it is then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) and see if they know why it's being declined (but you may no longer be able to use a debit card) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption


Do you have a credit card that you could try, to do you get the 'none' option on the payment details screen so that you can remove the card from your account - that would allow you to download updates (and free items).


If you don't get the 'none' option : Why can’t I select None when I edit my Apple ID payment information ?.


If you can't get the debit card, and you don't have a different card that you could try, then are iTunes gift cards available in your country (they are not available in all and they are country-specific, they can only be used in their country of issue) ? If they are then you could potentially use them as your payment method for future purchases.
