If I force quit will I lose my data

Really need help as I am panicking..I opened a PDF in safari which opened in a new window and ever since that happened I cannot access any safari windows. I have 2 Safari windows opened with multiple tabs and that one PDF window opened. I NEED the two windows with all the tabs. If I force quit will I lose everything? And what about if I just shut down my computer.. will I lose it all or when it restarts will everything pop back up?

When you Force Quit an application, unsaved changes in the current session will be lost.

Previously saved state will remain.

More about Force Quit from Apple:

"Using the Force Quit feature of OS X makes an application close, even when it is not responsive.

Important: Normally you should not need to force quit an app to close it. When an app is forced to quit, any unsaved changes to open documents are not saved, so try these methods to normally close the app first:"
