Hello,
There's a App "NoLED" on Android that I like a lot. Now that I switch to an iPhone 6 I been looking countless hours looking for a similar app. What this app did on Android was when you phone was locked and the screen was off.... if a text, email or missed phone call was received it would show an icon so you could see that you missed something while away from the phone.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I did this setting and yes it works and the message comes up on the screen for a few seconds but if I'm away from the phone for me to know if I missed a call, email or text I have to turn on the screen. That's the difference about the app I'm looking for. I don't have to turn on the screen to know that I missed something, I just have to look at the screen.
Apple does not allow apps that manipulate the lock screen.
I'm not sure I really understand the advantage of the app you mention. If you're in front of the phone to see the screen, it's not much more work to hit the button to turn it on. If the screen stayed on all the time, I'd imagine that would cause severe battery drain.
I guess Apple don't have such an App.
The advantage of this App is that you don't have to turn on the screen to see if you missed a call, text or email when away from the phone not when you are looking at the screen. When you return and you just have to looking at the screen without turn it on your screen to see the icon of what you missed while away.
I don't have the phone on my all the time. While in the office I walk away from the phone but when I return I have to turn on the screen to assure I don't miss something. That's what I'm trying to avoid to turn on the screen each time I return close to the phone to assure I don't missed something.

No app is necessary for this. Go to Settings --> Notifications, and for each app you want notifications for, turn on "View on Lock Screen."
