Automator workflow to check for Microsoft Office updates

I'm trying to create a workflow to check for updates in Microsoft Office. I'm recording the workflow to open Word, then select the Help menu and click Check for Updates. However, no matter what I do, the workflow stalls out after opening Word. It will not activate the Help menu. What am I doing wrong?

You can call the update directly with:

open "/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/MAU2.0/Microsoft AutoUpdate.app"

So, in Automator, use the Run Shell Script Action:

Awesome! Thank you! Now... what I'm REALLY trying to do is check for updates on all the computers in my lab using ARD. I just added that Shell Script command to my workflow, preceded by a "Choose Remote Computer" command. However, it still runs the shell script on MY computer instead of on the selected remote system. Any ideas? 🙂
