Have you tried calling the Retail Store where you want your appointment directly?

This no longer works. They just don't have an option to setup an appointment online

Well, I just made an appointment last week using my iPad and the Apple store app. I can't send a link since this is an app for iOS - it worked just fine.

With babowa's link > http://www.apple.com/retail/geniusbar/ - I just flew right through the process to my favorite Apple Store location's Genius appointments - first available Friday - showed through Monday = 81 available slots

I have been an 'apple' person for 10 years and bought a new Mac today - I almost took it back.  I've spent an hour trying to make an appointment at the genius bar!!  Thank you, I eventually managed it using the Apple Store app - but my loyalty may be getting low . . . . . .

from what previously was easy, making a Genius reservation, the new process is IMPOSSIBLE and for some reason apple is happy that the user experience has now completely imploded - spent 20 minutes trying to work out how to make a reservation online - what a disaster, apple does everything in its power to confuse and make the appointment booking process hard to find. Eventually went to t-mobile store and they solved it - an F score for apple on this count - please fix it for other users

There is no one from Apple here - we are all users like yourself. Using the Apple store app on your iPhone would have been the easy way to go.

Apple Watch can't connect over wifi anymore.  Just tried to make a Genius Bar appointment online.  Can't do it anymore.  They kick you over to a phone or chat with Apple.  Ok, I'll play your game, Apple.  Talking to a tech who claims the Apple Watch doesn't work over wifi.  Told her she was full of it.  Read the KB article directly to her.  "If Bluetooth isn’t available, Apple Watch will try to use Wi-Fi," it says.  Got kicked up to a senior tech who claimed the same thing.  Read the same KB article to him. Good times, good times, Apple.

What is it that you are trying to do via Wifi on the Watch? Is the Wifi connection you are attempting to enable on the watch one that has been connected to via your phone already?

The only way the Apple Watch can connect to Wifi is by using a Wifi Connection that the iPhone it is paired with has previously connected to.

When the Apple Watch is connected to Wifi it can only do the following things:

If your Apple Watch and iPhone are on the same network but aren’t connected by Bluetooth, you can also do the following on Apple Watch without iPhone:

    • Send and receive messages using iMessage
    • Send and receive Digital Touch messages
    • Use Siri

So, making a Genius Bar appointment is not one of those things....

    Cheers,

    > Is the Wifi connection you are attempting to enable on the watch one that has been connected to via your phone already?

See where I say "anymore" above.  That sort of answers your question.

    > you can also do the following on Apple Watch without iPhone:

Yes, via wifi.  "...Apple Watch will try to use Wi-Fi,"

    > So, making a Genius Bar appointment is not one of those things....

So you and I agree that the Watch uses wifi.  For an Apple Support tech to claim otherwise tells us the level of training Apple is giving their staff these days.

No, every Sunday I see a line of people at the University Village Apple Store in Fort Worth, TX waiting in line for their appointment.

I am guessing at your location by your UserName p"Earl's Court"?

London is a very densely populated city.

Apple Retail Stores are likewise very densely located in and around London.

Expand your chances of getting a reservation by thinking about taking the train or drive to an outlying Store.

Geniuses "specialize" on devices - an iPhone Genius likely will not take an appointment for a MBPro of WATCH

I was able to see reservation times for 22Oct2015 when I tested for an 'non-specific' iPhone hardware problem at

    Apple Store -White City,

    Westfield London Ariel Way

    London, W12 7GF.

When I tested for a MBPro issue, I had to "move" my Store location to the outskirts to get an appointment on the same day >
