Hello, I recently got a new mac, the Mac Mini. At my school, we use macs that are still on Mavericks, and I got very used to them. When I got my computer, Yosemite just came out, so it had Yosemite installed on it already when I bought it. Is there a way I can get Mavericks on this computer? Thanks.

What model did you get? If it's a 2012 model, it's certainly possible to install Mavericks on it, but Apple has made it very difficult to get Mavericks. If it's the new 2014 model, you are stuck with Yosemite.

I have the 2014 model. Is there maybe a Mavericks theme I can get? With Mavericks (for me) it's easier to focus. I miss the 3D dock and the old icons.
No. And Apple no longer offers Mavericks.

Then, you should have prepared a bootable backup/clone and a Time Machine backup of your previously good installation so you could have reverted back to it.

I bought my mac a few weeks ago, and when I started it up, it was on the latest version. There isn't a backup of Mavericks. Mavericks hasn't been on this computer.
Your new machine won't run on Mavericks and if you don't have an older one that you previously used, you're out of luck, unless you can get the school to move to Yosemite, the OS that mimics the other iOS devices.
