time capsule and Panasonic smart tv connection not working

I have just had the NBN installed (Australias new Fibre Network) and I am using the Time Capsule as the router. The TC is connected by ethernet to the NBN Port and my iMac is connected to the time capsule by ethernet. All other devices (iPads, iPhone and Mac book pro connect wirelessly to the Time Capsule and I am enjoying terrific speeds. My new TV arrived today and it is a Panasonic 60" Smart TV. I have been trying to connect this to my home network and run in to problems. The TV connects to the Time Capsule but it will not connect to the internet. Panasonic recommend using the auto settings and the set up shows my TV connected to the router nut the router not connected to the net? I know this is not true as I can access the net on my laptop.

The TV says it is "connected to the home network but cannot find the IP address"

I phoned Panasonic and they were less than useless - if it doesn't wotk on Auto mode then no idea - call your isp!

I phoned my ISP and they are trying to help - iinet are very very good - but as yet we are getting nowhere. They really don't know much about Time Capsules!

Anybody had a similar experience or can offer any thoughts it would be great!
