Q: iPhone does not connect to a macmini
my iPhone 6 with the latest update refuses to connect to my Mac mini (2012) version. They recognize each other and I select pair but they refuse to accept the pairing acceptance. How do I fix this. (my iPad air works fine)

An iPhone will not pair via Bluetooth to a computer (Mac or Windows) except for personal hotspot and then only if your cellular plan supports it. Bluetooth: Why can't I pair my iPhone or iPad with another iOS device or with my computer?
If you are attempting to use Handoff/Continuity, that does involve Bluetooth but the devices are NOT paired; Bluetooth just needs to be on and the devices in range of each other. The following may help with Handoff/Continuity: Get help using Continuity with iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite - Apple Support
