Q: Yosemite update does not solve wifi problems

yosemite update does not solve wifi.  Apple are as garbage as Microsoft now, but they have the cheek to charge twice as much!,

Apple, you have lost my future business...might as well buy a cheap windows laptop now.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10)

    Hello Chutley,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

Depending on what is happing with your Wi-FI connection, the update may or may not resolve your issues. Since updating didn't resolve your issues, you might want to take a look at the following article for additional steps to try:

Same problem here. I also manually downloaded the update and installed it, but same problem. Looked in 'About this Mac' tab and it still shows ver. 10.10. Reinstalled the update a few times yesterday and today; but still shows ver. 10.10; and I still have wifi and other problems as before update. I never received a notice after the updates that the update installed correctly, or was successful; so maybe this update doesn't install? You tell me.
