I removed fitbit from my usb port it didn't seem to make a difference. I have 2gb ram isn't that the suggested amount for running yosemite? Should I upgrade to 4gb? ... Do you know why there are so many things that failed under problem system launch agents/daemons? I re-ran an etrecheck report without fitbit in the usb port and all of that was still there.

I Meant to remove the Fitbit software. Another thread I was helping on the user found that uninstalling Fitbit helped his slowness problem. He also had failed launch agents and launch daemons and I suggested that he reinstall OS X as those are all Apple system files but he never posted back to say if he did or not. Try uninstalling Fitbit, restarting your computer and running etreCheck again to see if the failed items are still there. As far as ram upgrades you should upgrade to at least 4gb. While Yosemite will run in 2gb anything else you try to do, and I mean ANYTHING, will bring your computer to its knees. IMO Apple is doing its users a disservice by stating that the minimum is 2gb.

You're welcome. Another point.....be careful about buying ram, most brands are very loose with their specs and won't work well or at all in macs. I'd recommend buying online either from Crucial http://www.crucial.com or OWC http://eshop.macsales.com Both guarentee their ram to work with macs, have great customer service and offer competitive pricing. Avoid the temptation to save a few dollars on bargain basement ram and you'll be much happier in the end.
