They only provided me software or drivers for the PC and I want to change to a desk top apple computer. I have hesitated to avoid having multiple computers. I am seeking drivers for my apple computer that will communicate with the book edge scanner by AVISION.
MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), Mac OS X (10.4.1)
On their site Proscan/Avision claims:

Check with them what "optional" means. (It might be that they will simply suggest running Windows on your Mac.)
I'm sorry but how do I run Windows software on my apple computer? I tried to download those drivers but I would get the error message stating that apple does not support Windows software.

For the drivers, check out VueScan; I've had it for years and it has been awesome. It converts about anything to Mac. http://www.hamrick.com/
