Q: Upgrade from 10.9.5 to 10.10.1

If I upgrade from 10.9.5 to 10.10.1 will I still get Pages, Numbers etc.? I have a friend who's Mac with Yosemite OS was shipped without those two programs. I'm a little worried that I will have to pay to have them again.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

    Hi freddy,

     

    Any apps you currently have on your iMac should remain there when you install Yosemite over Lion. Remember to backup your current installation before installing Yosemite, and I'd recommend using a clone so you can clone Lion and everything back if Yosemite doesn't work out for you.
