My midi/audio interface Edirol PCR 1 won't work with Yosemite and Roland have no driver update. Is this the end of the line for this device.

I got the PCR working with audio and midi on os x 10.11.5 selecting the generic midi and audio drivers - pages 93 - 96 of the manual

pg 95 use the generic driver

pg 96 use the standard driver mode - 44 or 48

same problem here, i have the PCR-M1 and also the PCR-500...i guess that we have to stick to the MIDI interface (no USB...)

Same problem here, what a shame as this has been my favorite portable keyboard for ages. Whenever I see one in a store(very rarely) I'll grab it.

No news whatsoever? No hack to make Roland's PCR-series compatible with Yosemite? Should we go back to Mavericks?

The PCR-500 is compatible with Yosemite. Turn off the advanced driver mode and the keyboard will fucntion as an ordinary midi-keyboard. You don't really loose any functionality as far as I know. The advanced driver on and off: I can't tell any difference in performance of the keyboard.
