Did Apple tweak automatic termination in Yosemite?

I have noticed that since updating to 10.10.1, automatic termination seems to have stopped. I'm just trying to verify if that's the case or not.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

Wondering about the same thing, I notice my Quicktime Player icon does not disappear by itself from the Dock now…

Furthermore, the Sudden Termination is displayed as “no” in the Activity Monitor.
