Q: Get Memory for Iphone 5 Update

In order to free up enough space to upgrade, I would have to delete many thousands of emails. Despite following all the ideas suggested here, I can't do it.

 

My question is, Can I remove all my email Accounts; upgrade to ios 8.1.1, and then reinstall my email?

Just update it using iTunes on your computer. The space requirement doesn't apply.
