Do NOT do that, if you mean that your songs are on your iPod (and nowhere else) and you want to offload ("unload") them to your computer's iTunes library (which does not have those songs). Please reply back to clarify what you want to do, with more details about your situation.

You do not sync music from the iPod to the computer, it is one way, from iTunes to iPod. See the user supplied tip in the earlier post from turningtest2. That provides information on how to use a 3rd party software solution to get the music off the iPod. Make sure you backup your iTunes library on the computer so this doesn't happen again.
