"Include CD Text"

"Include CD Text"

In the Advanced/Burning/ section of iTunes preferences there is an option to select or deselect something called "Include CD Text".

What is that exactly?

If this option is selected in iTunes 7 it is supposed to add the CD text to the CD. CD players that support CD text are then able to read the song title etc. This is new in iTunes 7.
