Unable to add a SunTrust debit card

I have two accounts with SunTrust bank, each with it's own MasterCard debit card. One was added to Apple Pay with no problem. The other received the message that my issuer does not offer support for this card. I called SunTrust and they advised that everything is set up correctly on their end and I should be able to add it. They suggested I contact Apple. Any suggestions?
